Project Elevate is
a White Mountains nonprofit foundation.
Our mission is
to elevate community through conservation, innovation and high altitude adventure.
Summer 2019, Project Elevate purchased Camp Grace (established in 1953), assumed ownership of the land, the buildings and the Mission of Grace nonprofit organizations + initiated the Saving Camp Grace campaign.
Camp Grace will continue to host local, regional, statewide and national summer camps and off-season programs focusing on youth leadership, performance and unity. We are partnering with White Mountain Youth Foundation, the Allazo Group, Arizona Mountain Orthopedics, White Mountain Physical Therapy, Mountain Multi-fit, Eagle Dancer Youth and Family Services and local civic and community leaders on this project.
As we progress in our mission and recognize the significance of protecting the integrity of our camp experience, it has become evident that we need more space. For this purpose and to broaden our community impact, we are in the process of purchasing the adjacent 100 acres. [5-Phase Plan]
Doing so, we can do the following:
Provide more space for summer programs
Implement year-round youth and adult education
Enhance community and professional performance training (with Mountain Multi-fit)
Develop high adventure facilities such as ropes course and zip lines
Expand and realize our “Nature Fit” program (aka Wilderness Workouts)
Advance wellness programs
Expand mentor and work-study training
And bring Allazo group leadership seminars and retreats to the White Mountains
Our vision to simultaneous enhance the economic and career growth opportunities for our residents through certifications and job training for youth and adults will attract more"off-season" visitors and entice professionals to relocate to White Mountain communities. It will also bring more restaurants and services to capture and expand the healthy-living lifestyle we promote.
